Our History
 

The vision of a Covenant Children's home has long been in the minds, hearts and prayers of a group of people that live in the Dunnellon area. In recent months much progress has been made in the development of this long awaited ministry:

• The articles of incorporation for C.C.H. were filed and approved in June 2002

• Non-Profit status with the Federal and State governments was achieved in January 2003

• A lease agreement with Springs Presbyterian Church was finalized in February 2003

The last of these will provide roughly 20 acres for development and use by Covenant Children's Home at a cost of $1.00 per year. As you can imagine those of us who are already involved with Covenant are very excited about recent events. We also hope that many of you will join us in this venture that will certainly have a positive impact upon the youth in our area.
