About Us
The original vision of the founders was to build a cluster of five homes, each housing eight children and their houseparent's. The goal was to provide all the stabilizing elements of a traditional family to children who were in need of a place to call home, and to provide long term nurturing that went beyond the needs of basic custodial care. The Covenant Children's Home Board of Directors has remained faithful to this vision, and today the first phase of this endeavour is complete. Phase II and Phase III will follow as need and resources determine.
Covenant Children's Home is a privately funded,
faith-based child care facility. It is debt free and receives no
government funding. Fundamental in our child caring strategy is the goal
of keeping sibling groups together and minimizing the trauma that can
result from family separation. We are a home for boys and girls in
crisis, and in need of hope and healing.
